Toddler Curriculum

Our toddler curriculum is of children from 18 to 24 months. Full of creativity the program is designed to offer an outlet for all that energy-packed into the life of a toddler. Group time, art, sensory, and outdoor play provide the stimulation necessary to develop healthy and happy children. Exploring books, being ready to listening stories and listening songs and rhymes set toddlers on the path for literacy. Toddlers are provided with an environment where they feel safe and secure and can thrive. We stimulate their curiosity by introducing new skills and concepts, building a strong foundation for their next stages of development.

Engaging in outdoor activities builds the right foundation for children so that they become more productive and well-rounded adults in the future.

Snack Time

Snack time is a great opportunity to interact with peers and try new food.Learners try to discover their food through careful tasting, smelling, and touching.

Learning Stations/ Sensory Motor Time

During center time learners work with their parents in small groups which helps to enhance their fine motor and skills. As said by Maria Montessori “The senses being, the explorer of the world, open the way to knowledge.” Different activities are planned by the teacher accordingly to their plan of the day. Learners explore different centers as they move around the classroom.

Jiggy Wiggy Time

During jiggy wiggy time, learners learn about music, musical instruments, and rhymes. Rhymes are a child’s first experience with words. When actions are linked to words in the rhyme, it helps boost motor skills and improves rhythm and movement. Improves memory, concentration, spatial intelligence, and thinking skills.

Reflection and Closing Circle

Closing circle is an effective strategy for bringing closure to the school day in a fun and meaningful way. By ending the day on a refreshing, reflective note, closing circle reinforces the sense of reflection and safety that teachers strive to develop.

Blocks help children learn to take turns and share materials, develop new friendships, become self-reliant, increase attention span, cooperate with others, and develop self-esteem. Development in all areas. Block play requires fine and gross motor skills.

Engaging your child in sensory play helps prepare them for life ahead. Our favourite sensory activities for toddlers to preschoolers include sensory bins, Play dough, water play, messy play and more. Dramatic play encourages children to put themselves in someone else’s shoes. Such role-playing helps them to improve their ability to do this in real life. They learn important social skills, such as empathy and language development

Value based curriculum is an approach to teaching that works with values. It creates a strong learning environment that enhances academic achievement and develops students social and relationship skills that last throughout their lives.

It gives your child a chance to embrace his artistic side. Through arts and craft, children learn to value and appreciate artifacts and images across cultures and times. Experience in design, art, and crafts enable them to reflect critically on their own work and those by others. They learn to act and think like designers and artists, working intelligently and creatively.
