Our Senior Kindergarten Curriculum is for 5 to 6 years olds. Kindergarten is a time of social and emotional growth and children develop positive attitudes about themselves and school. Senior kindergarten is an essential time in a child’s education journey, as they set the skills needed for elementary learning. Morning Greeting and Circle Time
Morning greeting is a short period of time where you gather together with the children in your classroom as a whole group. During this teacher say small good morning rhyme using puppets. This starts with reading the calendar (date, day and year) and weather of the day. Introduce a letter, shape, colour, number or theme; and have Show & Tell. A small gist about different things that will be done in the class.
Learning Station Time
During learning station, time learners work independently in small groups. Different activities are planned by the teacher accordingly to their plan of the day. Learners explore different centers as they move around the classroom.
Literacy and Math Time

Snack Time
Snack time is a great opportunity to interact with peers and try new food. Learners try to discover their food through careful tasting, smelling, and touching.
Choice Time
Free-choice time is the time during the school day in which learners make their own choices about what activities they engage in. The teacher gives learners the opportunity to explore various centers.
Special Inclusions
Designed specifically for your child to foster creativity, emotional, physical and social development with knowledge and understanding of themselves and the world around them. Learners will get a hands-on experience on STEM, Robotics, Around the world, Montessori, Zumba & Yoga.
Reflection and Closing Circle
Closing circle is an effective strategy for bringing closure to the school day in a fun and meaningful way. By ending the day on a refreshing, reflective note, the closing circle reinforces the sense of reflection and safety that teachers strive to develop.
Blocks help children learn to take turns and share materials, develop new friendships, become self-reliant, increase attention span, cooperate with others, and develop self-esteem. Development in all areas. Block play requires fine and gross motor skills.

A dramatic play learning center is an essential part of the preschool classroom. Dramatic play helps children explore different roles and situations as children play with items and tools adults use in everyday life. Dramatic play encourages children to put themselves in someone else’s shoes. Such role-playing helps them to improve their ability to do this in real life. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese type of exercise program with its roots coming from martial arts. It emphasize a mind body connection using slow, gentle movements, meditation and deep breathing. Tai chi has been shown to improve balance, strength, flexibility, stamina, muscle tone, and coordination. The mediation component of tai chi can help to calm the mind, improve concentration in children.
